As Movember comes to an end, we want to thank everyone who donated to the Flower City MoBro's team. They made their goal today of over $3000 (currently at $3,150)! Below are a few of looks that have been around the gym lately. Go FCCF!
Learn how to survive against an attacker with a gun, knife or other weapon using psychological and physical skills. You will learn why certain attackers use weapons, what to do and say when a weapon is shown and how to physically incapacitate this person if necessary. On the ground participants will learn how to use their strength to escape an attacker. Basic moves are taught and practiced that make it extremely difficult for anyone to control you on the ground! You have got to experience the transformation that takes place when you control the outcome of a situation. With offered this once before at FCCF and everyone found it very valuable!
This event is open to the public and for both women and men. The cost is $25 with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Rape Crisis Services of Rochester). Register online here: Self Defense Seminar

For the second year in a row, some members of FCCF are participating in Movember. What is Movember you ask? To quote their website, "Men start Movember 1st clean shaven. For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts."
The funds raised in the US support prostate cancer and testicular cancer initiatives. The FCCF Team is the "Flower City MoFo's" and you can donate to them here: http://us.movember.com/team/464057
They appreciate any support you are able to provide. We will have some facebook and web updates on the facial hair as the month progresses. Styles have been chosen and I'm scared to see the results.
